Dear 2008 MHS Conference Attendee:

 

Thank you for attending the 2008 McKesson Health Solutions Conference. More than 600 people from payor, hospital and government organizations and McKesson joined together in San Antonio to make the experience a valuable one for all.

 

You rated the overall conference experience 4.19 out of 5, and the value of the conference to your job 4.32 out of 5. That high level of satisfaction can be largely attributed to more than 50 client-led sessions, so a big "Thank you" to those who shared your real-life applications of McKesson solutions so others could benefit from your experience.

 

Ratings on the green initiatives at the conference also show you share our concern for the environment and support our efforts to reduce paper, recycle, save water and shrink our carbon footprint; we will be sure to continue these next year.

Accessing Presentations and More

• Presentations. Presentations that were submitted to us are now available, for a limited time, online. To view or download the PowerPoint presentations of the sessions you attended, take a look at some you missed or share them with peers within your organization, log on to www.MHSConference.com. Click the Sessions tab to access all sessions and pick the session you want by session code.
• Continuing education. If you requested continuing education credits, we will be sending these to you via e-mail as we process them. Please note that this could take a few weeks to completely process.
• Networking demographics. We will be emailing you a spreadsheet of contact information for those attendees with whom you shared a link.

Next Year: "The City by the Bay"

We are excited to be hosting the 2009 McKesson Health Solutions Conference in the city where McKesson is headquartered - San Francisco. Please plan to join us October 19 - 22 at the San Francisco Hilton.

 

The conference and agenda teams are already laying the groundwork for the 2009 conference by reviewing all the feedback gathered this year. We will notify you about the proposed agenda topics and conference schedule as soon as they are firmed up. This is your conference, so we invite you take an active role by:

• Sharing your success. If you use a product in a unique way or have a success story you would like to share, consider presenting it to our attendees. A call for abstracts will be sent out in the early part of 2009.
• Suggesting a speaker. We welcome your input on speakers for future conferences. If you'd like to suggest a leader in the care or claims management field or perhaps someone from your own organization, just drop us an email at MHSconference@mckesson.com.

Thanks to all those who have already expressed your interest in being a member of the MHS Conference Steering Committee - the responses for this year are still coming in. We will be contacting all applicants soon with the results of the committee selection. If you are interested but did not pick up a form, please send a request to MHSConference@McKesson.com. The form includes the benefits of membership and commitments required. Volunteer forms are due by November 10, 2008.
